A Day At the Beach

At least once a year, I try to take a photo of my kids at the beach like this-- backs to the camera, holding hands, looking out at the ocean.  I have a whole series of them, and I love looking back at the changes that happen from year to year. 

A Wedding Gift

My sweet client wanted a special wedding gift for her sister and fiancé, so decided to have their portrait done as a surprise.  The photo she had to work from was fairly small and lacked detail, so I worked from both it and a more detailed photo of her sister in order to get it just right.  The couple displayed the painting at their wedding!

Jaguars and Seahawks Paintings for My Boys

I decided to do paintings for my sons for Christmas, as they've got a pretty strong rivalry going on regarding their favorite football teams.  I made some slight changes to the gloves to keep them a bit simpler, but needless to say, they loved them!

Hawaiian Wave Painting

How's that for an amazing photo?  This customer's son was surfing in Hawaii when this shot was taken, and she wanted a painting done of it as a Christmas gift. It was both a challenge and an adventure to paint!

Meet Falcon

Falcon is a service dog.  Isn't he gorgeous?  His owner's girlfriend commissioned me to paint him for her boyfriend as a Christmas present.  I love painting animals, and service animals are even more special than others!

Baby Eli

Look at this little cutie-pie!  What a smile!  As you can see, I changed up the background a bit, just to add a little more color.

Felicia's Gorgeous Dog!

Animals are such a joy to paint.  I love capturing their personalities.  Felicia commissioned a portrait of her dog for her husband, because she's getting up in years and wants a way to remember her.  She chose to go with a simple background instead of the outdoor scene in the photo.

Jennifer's Adorable Baby!

I adore painting children, and this little cutie couldn't have been more fun to capture!
